James L. Falvo
James L. Falvo is the Principal of Dallas based DFW Advisors Ltd. Co. (DFWA) and is a licensed Texas Real Estate Commission broker. Mr. Falvo provides oversight to all real estate relocations, acquisitions, sales, research and analysis, valuation, and project management.
Mr. Falvo earned his BBA in Accounting and Management at the University of Oklahoma and a MBA in Finance and Real Estate from Southern Methodist University. He is a member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR), the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the Texas Association of Realtors (TAR) and the Dallas Chapter of the International Right of Way Association (IRWA). Jim also holds the IRWA Relocation Assistance Certification (R/W-RAC).
Andrew H. Winkelmann
Andrew H. Winkelmann is an attorney and member of the Texas State Bar. Andrew practiced with Koon’s Real Estate Law Firm before joining DFW Advisors. He has a background in Land Surveying and AutoCAD. Andrew serves as our negotiations and relocation specialist on all Right of Way projects. He has an in-depth knowledge of the Uniform Relocation Act and is our project management lead on most acquisitions.
Andrew graduated from Trinity University with a Bachelor Degree in History and attended St. Mary’s University Law School, both in San Antonio. Mr. Winkelmann is a member of the Dallas Chapter of the International Right of Way Association (IRWA) and has his Relocation Assistance Certification
Lester Nevels
Lester Nevels is a State of Texas licensed Real Estate Agent. He is currently working on his Texas Real Estate Broker’s License. He has over 40 years in various real estate related projects including relocation, acquisition sales, development, financing, property management, project management, construction, negotiations, community liaison, and public relations.
Mr. Nevels served as the Assistant Director of Affordable Housing for the Dallas Housing Authority (DHA) from 2003 to 2006.
Mr. Nevels earned a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. He is a member of the North Texas Chapter of Realtors and the International Right-of-Way Association (IRWA).
Lester is currently a candidate working towards a Negotiations/Acquisitions certification from the International Right of Way Association (IRWA).
Mary Jo Falvo
Mary Jo Falvo is the Office Comptroller and is a highly qualified and trained professional from the education industry. Mrs. Falvo has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oklahoma and has trained under contracted C.P.A.’s to ensure all accounting is completed according to general accounting principles and standards.
John Falvo
John Falvo is the Real Estate Analyst for DFW Advisors Ltd. Co. He is responsible for correspondence, preparation of lease/sale documents, preparing marketing packages, research, and he is also the onsite manager for our building. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of North Texas. Before joining our team, John worked for two different Property Management Companies in New York City. John previously held a real estate sales person’s license in the State of New York. He is currently licensed in the State of Texas. While working in New York City, John oversaw many closings involving Condominium and Co-op units. He also oversaw the preparation and completion of many capital improvement projects for various buildings managed by his employers. While working in New York City, John learned to thrive and grow in a fast pace and everchanging real estate market. He hopes to grow with our company and learn all aspects of the real estate market in the State of Texas.
Gayla L. Plunk
Gayla L. Plunk is our Office Manager. She is highly qualified and a trained assistant with over 20 years bookkeeping and accounting related experience in both the architectural and civil engineering fields. Mrs. Plunk was trained under a registered C.P.A. to help ensure all bookkeeping is completed according to the appropriate principles and standards.
